Gary is an award-winning film director, screenwriter, film editor, and cinematographer. Since starting his film career in editorial at Warner Brothers, he has written, directed, and edited commercials, music videos, documentaries, and features including the baseball comedy Calvin Marshall (2010) starring Steve Zahn.  His other features include the critically acclaimed Redwood Highway (2013), starring film legends Shirley Knight and Tom Skerrit,as well as Phoenix, Oregon (2019), which was the number one film in America in March 2020. 

On an Olivine Film set, you’ll find Gary cherishing every second with our cast and crew and always looking for the shot that tells the story.

His favorite film is the Three Colours trilogy from Polish film director Krzysztof Kieślowski.
